Rangoli is an art form, originating in the Indian subcontinent, in which patterns are created on the floor in living rooms or courtyards using materials such as colored rice, dry flour, colored sand or flower petals. It is usually made during Diwali or Tihar (collectively known as Deepawali), Onam, Pongal and other festivals from the Indian subcontinent related to Hinduism.
Theme will be given on the spot.
Colors and material to be brought by participants themselves.
Use of any type of electronic device during competition is prohibited.
In case of obscenity the participant will be disqualified.
Extra time will not be provided participants should complete the rangoli/painting in given time.
Any type of colors can be used or it may be sketch painting.
